Pierce Construction was established in 1974 by Willie D. Pierce to design and build sawmills. Trusted for over 50 years, plants involved in all  phases of wood products production have utilized Pierce Construction and Maintenance Co., Inc. for design, fabrication, and installation. Utilizing 2D and 3D design software and other design tools, our engineering department can build and install high-quality custom machinery.

Acquired by Pierce Construction and Maintenance Co. Inc. in 1988, Efurd Machine of Mississippi provides the highest quality and most advanced technology in pole mill equipment. The new linequp of trademarked pole peeling machines are designed and built to provide all the qualities you look for in an Efurd machine. From product manufacturing to complete construction and setup of mills, Efurd Machine of Mississippi is committed to meeting the client’s specific needs.

In 1993, Pierce Construction and Maintenance Co. Inc. opened Hub City Steel. Our facilities are large enough to meet the volume needs of Industrial customers, while allowing time for custom sales to the public. We can collaborate with you to custom cut and load purchases quickly and efficiently. We have the ability to saw, burn, punch, bend, roll, and fabricate to order.
